Purpose: Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) system was developed for tracking wheelchair sports kinematics which installed on the left side of the wheel axle. The researchers developed the data processing system and designed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) that displays the kinematic data of the wheelchair. It allows trainers to track wheelchairs to gather data for analyzing and developing wheelchair athletes’ skills and fitness. It can be used in both competitive and training sessions. This research aims to study the validition of developed IMU system for tracking wheelchair sports kinematics, compared with a 2D motion analysis (2DMA).
本数据集的研发目标如下:针对轮椅运动学追踪场景开发惯性测量单元(Inertial Measurement Unit, IMU)系统,该系统部署于轮椅轮轴左侧。研究团队同步开发了配套数据处理系统,并设计了可展示轮椅运动学数据的图形用户界面(Graphical User Interface, GUI)。该工具可辅助教练员追踪轮椅运动状态,采集相关数据以分析并优化轮椅竞速运动员的运动技能与体能水平,适用于正式赛事与日常训练两类场景。本研究以二维运动分析系统(2D motion analysis, 2DMA)为参照基准,旨在验证所开发的IMU系统在轮椅运动学追踪中的有效性。
