This series of tests demonstrate the use of dynamic centrifuge model testing to develop CPT based correlations for the cyclic strength of soil. Level profiles of saturated Ottawa sand were subjected to multiple shaking events until the models were no longer liquefiable. In-flight cone penetration tests track the progressive change in relative density over multiple shaking events. Dense arrays of accelerometers and pore pressure transducers provide the basis for computing cyclic stress ratios, shear strains, and volumetric strains through inverse analyses. These tests with clean sand facilitate comparison of the results with liquefaction triggering correlations developed by other means.

本系列试验旨在采用动态离心模型试验方法,建立基于圆锥贯入试验(CPT,Cone Penetration Test)的土体循环强度相关关系。试验中,对饱和渥太华砂的水平剖面试样施加多轮振动作用,直至试样模型不再具备液化能力。飞行中圆锥贯入试验可追踪多轮振动过程中试样相对密度的渐进变化规律。高密度布设的加速度计与孔隙压力传感器阵列,为通过反分析计算循环应力比、剪应变及体应变提供了数据支撑。本次采用纯净砂样开展的试验,便于将试验结果与其他方法得到的液化触发相关关系进行对比验证。
