Koster-N Horizons 8A-10B Micro

This dataset provides faunal identification summaries for Horizons 8A, 8B,8D, 8E, 8F, 10A and 10B that were completed by S. Neusius when working on her dissertation. The original datasheets have not been relocated so this file has been created from the summaries in Neusius 1982 (see documents attached to this project). Because this is summary data the actual contexts within horizons are unknown, but except for the Indeterminate remains, Feature vs Midden contexts were separated. No flotation from Horizons 9A/9B were examined by Neusius. Hill identified some flotation from these horizons but his ID sheets also are missing.

本数据集涵盖S. Neusius在其学位论文研究期间完成的层位（Horizons）8A、8B、8D、8E、8F、10A及10B的动物群鉴定（faunal identification）汇总结果。原始数据表未能找回，因此本文件系根据Neusius 1982中的汇总内容编制而成（详见本项目附带的文档）。由于本数据集为汇总数据，各层位内的实际出土单位信息已无从得知，但除未定种遗骸外，已对遗迹（Feature）与堆积（Midden）单位进行了区分。Neusius未对层位9A/9B的浮选（flotation）样品开展过鉴定。Hill曾对上述层位的部分浮选样品进行鉴定，但其鉴定表同样遗失。
