Climate and Human Population Density Drive Adaptation to Human Hosts in Aedes aegypti Mosquitoes Across Africa

Resequencing of Aedes aegypti genomes from across sub-Saharan Africa (with reference individuals from Brazil and Thailand, and Aedes mascarensis as outgroup) coupled with behavioral experiments characterizing preference for human hosts for each population. Samples are g0 (field-collected) individuals from seed-paper lined ovitraps.
