Breeding success of Gentoo penguins at Maiviken, South Georgia, from 2009 to 2020

The breeding success (calculated from nest and chick counts) of Gentoo penguins is monitored annually at Maiviken, South Georgia. The number of incubating nests and chicks reaching fledging stage are counted. Data exist from 2010 onwards. 南乔治亚州梅维肯（Maiviken）区域每年均会对巴布亚企鹅（Gentoo penguins）的繁殖成功率开展监测，该指标通过巢穴与幼鸟的数量统计结果计算得出。本次监测统计孵化期巢穴的数量以及成功进入换羽阶段的幼鸟数量。相关监测数据自2010年起开始留存。此项工作获得英国自然环境研究理事会（Natural Environment Research Council, UK）向英国南极调查局（British Antarctic Survey）拨付的核心研究经费资助。
