All samples were run in duplicate, therefore mean Cq and mean Melt Peak Temperatures are provided. Positive identifications depend on the amplification as well as melt peak temperatures, with D. suzukii melt peaks = 73°C (−0.2/+0.4°C). Further confirmation of the identifications was obtained via analysis of the difference plot of the melt curves.1All species were first identified morphologically by Dr Disna Gunawardana (or Dr Gunawardana confirmed identifications by the submitters), and subsequently confirmed also via sequencing the COI gene. See footnote of Table 2 for further details on identifiers/submitters for the samples.§Amplification after the cut-off Cq value.
