A portable sawmill

A sawmill 8 includes an engine or motor 30 having an output shaft 36 exiting therefrom for driving a sawblade 29. The output shaft has a longitudinal axis. The sawmill further includes a support apparatus for supporting the engine/motor 30， the support apparatus including a support framework. The engine/motor 30 is selectively pivotable relative to a portion of the support framework between a first operative position with the longitudinal axis extending at a first angle， and a second operative position with the longitudinal axis extending at a second angle different to the first angle. The support apparatus further includes a pivot body to pivotably mount the engine/motor 30 to said portion of the support framework. The pivot body includes: pivot portions for pivotable mounting of the pivot body about a pivot axis to said portion of the support framework; a mounting portion to which the engine/motor is secured， the mounting portion surrounding the output shaft; and a housing portion to accommodate the output shaft exited from the engine/motor.
