Dataset for: AI in Higher Education: Empirical Evidence of Adoption, Attitudes, and Ethical Concerns from Georgia

This anonymized dataset provides the empirical basis for the statistical analysis presented in the article: "AI in Higher Education: Empirical Evidence of Adoption, Attitudes, and Ethical Concerns from Georgia" (2026). The data were generated via a cross-sectional online survey administered between April 10 and May 1, 2025, using Google Forms. Data Collection & Participants: A total of 950 valid responses were collected from professionals, researchers, instructors, and students affiliated with five major Georgian institutions: - Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU)- Georgian Technical University (GTU)- Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU)- Ilia State University (ISU)- The University of Georgia (UG) Participants were recruited through institutional email networks. To encourage participation, respondents were offered the Useful AI Handbook (Amazon, 2025) and a trial of the top-rated AI tool identified in the study. While the survey was conducted in Georgia, the dataset (Excel format) is fully bilingual, with all headings and entries provided in both Georgian and English to facilitate international research and meta-analysis.
