This dataset records regional statistics on the main industrial product outputs of enterprises affiliated to China's state-owned forestry divisions in the 1998 national forestry statistics. The covered indicators include total timber output, log output, firewood timber output; for the total timber harvesting volume, clear-cutting for firewood and tending felling; sawn timber output, wood chip output, total wood flooring panel output (including solid wood composite flooring and laminate flooring as its sub-items); total artificial board output (including plywood, fiberboard and particleboard as its sub-items), and other related records. Additionally, the 1998 national forestry statistical data also includes information on silviculture and forest industrial operations, as well as personnel salary and education data of the forestry system.
