Genome sequencing of Leishmania infantum selected in vitro for resistant to topotecan

Leishmania infantum parasites were selected in vitro for resistance to the topoisomerase inhibitor topotecan. The genomes of 3 resistant clones were sequenced and analysed for mutations associated with resistance.

本研究通过体外筛选获得对拓扑异构酶抑制剂（topoisomerase inhibitor）托泊替康（topotecan）产生抗性的婴儿利什曼原虫（Leishmania infantum）虫株；随后对3株耐药克隆的基因组进行测序，并分析其中与耐药性相关的突变。
