This repository provides the bibliographic dataset used in the review article Adopting Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Conceptual Design: A Systematic Bibliometric Analysis. The final screened corpus contains 36 English-language research articles indexed in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus. The search scope covers publication years 2010–2025. All records were downloaded on 9 December 2025. Search and filtering scopeRecords were retrieved from WoS and Scopus using documented queries. The document type was limited to Article, and Review Article was excluded. The language was restricted to English. Files and dataset versionsTwo dataset versions are provided to support both transparency and tool compatibility: OriginalCSV files exported directly from WoS and Scopus, preserving each database’s native fields and structure. VOSviewerA VOSviewer-ready dataset in Web of Science plain-text format. Scopus records were converted to WoS plain-text format using CiteSpace (v6.3.R1), and then merged with the WoS plain-text records to enable seamless import into VOSviewer (v1.6.20). Intended useThe VOSviewer version can be used for bibliometric mapping tasks, including keyword co-occurrence analysis and clustering network visualisation. The Original files and recorded queries support reproducibility and auditing of the retrieval and conversion workflow. NoteDatabase coverage and indexing are dynamic. Re-running the same queries at a later date may return slightly different results. Funding detail The research described in this article is funded by the Diamond Jubilee Scholarship (2024) from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and is further supported by China Scholarship Council (No. 202508060385) under the National Construction High-Level University Program. This research project focuses on build an AI integrated metaheuristic framework for architectural design justification.
