We report 690K single-cell transcriptomes from nine different brain regions from adult mice (Frontal and Posterior Cortex, Hippocampus, Thalamus, Cerebellum, Striatum, Globus Pallidus externus/Nucleus Basalis, Entopeduncular / Subthalamic Nuclei, & Substantia Nigra / Ventral Tegmental Area). Single-cell suspensions were made from P60-70 C57BL/6 male mice (3-7 replicates / mouse) and sampled with Drop-seq. On average, each cell received 17.4 K Illumina sequencing reads from which we counted 2.2K transcripts and 1.2 K genes. In total, we measure 31.7K unique genes.
