绒布冰川厚度（2022）

绒布冰川位于喜马拉雅山北坡中段的珠峰北坡，为一种复式山谷冰川，全长22.4公里，面积达85.4平方公里。该冰川由东绒布冰川、中绒布冰川和西绒布冰川组成，这３支冰川在较低海拔处汇合后称绒布冰川。随着全球气候变暖，冰川面积逐年退缩，准确获取冰川厚度分布有利于合理的评估冰储量变化。采用中国水利水电科学研究院研发的冰水情一体化雷达系统在绒布冰川开展了冰川厚度分布的原位观测，共布置3条测线，测线总长度5612m，测量数据以excel形式存储。

The Rongbuk Glacier, situated on the northern slope of Mount Qomolangma (Everest) in the middle segment of the northern Himalayas, is a compound valley glacier with a total length of 22.4 km and an area of 85.4 km². It consists of three tributaries: the East Rongbuk Glacier, Middle Rongbuk Glacier and West Rongbuk Glacier, which merge at a relatively low elevation to form the main Rongbuk Glacier. As global warming progresses, the glacier's area has been shrinking annually. Accurately acquiring the glacier thickness distribution is critical for the reasonable assessment of changes in glacier ice reserves. In-situ observations of the glacier thickness distribution were carried out on the Rongbuk Glacier using an integrated water and ice radar system developed by the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR). A total of 3 survey lines were deployed, with a combined total length of 5612 m, and the measured data are stored in Excel format.
