Thermal seed treatment is an alternative baiting method to prevent attack from seed borne diseases. Temperature and exposure length during thermal treatment are important factors to maintain high seed viability and lower infection rate. The seed associated microbiota also influences seed viability and germination. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of seed heat treatment on microbial communities.
