VPRS 4755 Court of Petty Sessions Gold Buyer's Registers

Under the Gold Buyers Act 1901 and the subsequent Act of 1907 a register of judgments on applications was to be maintained by the Clerk of Court of Petty Sessions. Information contained in the register included: - date of the hearing, - name, occupation and address of the applicant, - particulars of the application including the nature (new or for a renewal of a licence), the district in which the licence was available and the situation of the tenement where the licence would be exercised, - details of the dates of publication of statutory notices, - name, residence, occupation and municipality of ratepayers certifying the character of the applicant, - police officer certifying the applicant, the justice ruling on the application, the decision and any remarks.

根据《1901年黄金收购者法》（Gold Buyers Act 1901）及1907年后续修订法案，治安法院书记员（Clerk of Court of Petty Sessions）须维护一份针对许可申请的判决登记簿。该登记簿收录的信息包括：

- 申请详情，涵盖申请性质（新办执照或执照续期）、执照可核发的辖区，以及执照将被行使的租地（tenement）所在地
- 法定公告的发布日期详情
- 证实申请人资质的地方税纳税人姓名、住所、职业及所属市政区
- 为申请人出具证明的警务人员、审理该申请的治安法官、判决结果及附带备注
