Investment plans of proptech investors worldwide 2021-2023, by stage

More than one-third of global investors planned to invest in the seed stage of proptech startups in the next 12 months, according to a survey conducted in 2023. Meanwhile, only four percent were planning to invest in Series D+. In the previous two years, investors were more likely to target different fundraising stages, including pre-seed, Series A, and Series B. In 2022, 69 percent of respondents planned to deploy capital for Series B fundraising. In 2023, founder and investor confidence in the proptech sector slightly picked up, after taking at hit in 2022.
