Marine Water Metagenome Metagenome

This study aims to explore the microbial community structure and functional potential of marine water microbiomes from various coastal locations in Coxs Bazar, Bangladesh, using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. By comparing microbial diversity and gene content across differently impacted sites, the study investigates the influence of human activities such as tourism and pollution on marine microbial ecosystems. The findings are expected to provide insights into environmental health, antimicrobial resistance reservoirs, and the ecological roles of native microbial communities in a rapidly changing coastal environment.

本研究拟采用鸟枪法宏基因组测序（shotgun metagenomic sequencing）技术，探究孟加拉国科克斯巴扎尔不同沿海区域海洋水体微生物组的群落结构与功能潜力。研究通过对比受人类活动影响程度不同的采样点的微生物多样性与基因组成，剖析旅游、污染等人类活动对海洋微生物生态系统的影响。预期研究成果可为快速变迁的沿海环境中的环境卫生、抗菌素耐药基因库以及本土微生物群落的生态功能提供重要科学见解。
