Number and rates of new cases of primary cancer, by cancer type, age group and sex

Number and rate of new cancer cases diagnosed annually from 1992 to the most recent diagnosis year available. Included are all invasive cancers and in situ bladder cancer with cases defined using the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Groups for Primary Site based on the World Health Organization International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, Third Edition (ICD-O-3). Random rounding of case counts to the nearest multiple of 5 is used to prevent inappropriate disclosure of health-related information.

本数据集收录1992年至最新可用诊断年份的年度新增癌症病例数及发病率。纳入统计的病例包括所有侵袭性癌症与原位膀胱癌，病例的原发部位判定依据世界卫生组织《国际疾病分类肿瘤学专辑第3版》（International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, Third Edition, ICD-O-3），由监测、流行病学与最终结果（Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results, SEER）小组完成。为避免不适当地披露健康相关信息，数据集采用将病例数随机舍入至最接近的5的倍数的处理方式。
