To identify the messenger RNA (mRNA) profile in the hearts of mice that were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and identify potential changes in the expression of genes that may account for inhibition of cardiac Ppara that has been observed in LPS-treated mice, 8 mouse samples were analyzed with whole genome microarrays. Total RNA from pieces of hearts obtained from 8 C57BL/6 mice that were treated either with saline (4 mice) or with lipopolysaccharide (4 mice).

为鉴定经脂多糖(lipopolysaccharide, LPS)处理的小鼠心脏内的信使核糖核酸(messenger RNA, mRNA)表达谱,并探寻可解释经LPS处理小鼠中观测到的心脏Ppara表达抑制现象的潜在基因表达变化,本研究采用全基因组微阵列技术对8份小鼠样本进行了分析。本研究的样本取自8只C57BL/6小鼠,其中4只经生理盐水处理、4只经脂多糖处理,提取其心脏组织碎片的总RNA用于后续检测。
