we selected H. coagulans JF1, which exhibits the strongest ethanol-degrading ability, for whole-genome sequencing to obtain its functional information. Strain JF1 was selected for whole-genome sequencing, revealing a circular chromosome of 3,657,992 bp with a GC content of 46.22% . The genome contains 3,673 genes, including 3,469 protein-coding sequences (CDS) and 77 tRNA genes. Functional annotation via COG and KEGG databases showed enrichment in pathways related to amino acid/carbohydrate metabolism, energy production, and membrane transport. Notably, genes encoding ADH (adh) and ALDH (adhE) were identified, providing genetic evidence for its ethanol-degrading potential .
