This dataset is the spatial distribution data of land use types in Hengnan County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province in 2016. It is vector data containing attribute fields such as land code and land type. The land types are classified into secondary categories including paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, bottom land, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is categorized based on landform into paddy fields and dry lands on mountains, hills, plains, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data has a scale of 1:100,000.
