Wild-type mice were fed for 4 weeks with a chow diet (CD), a high-fat diet (HFD) or a HFD supplemented with fructooligosaccharides (FOS) (HFD+FOS) administered in the drinking water. We evaluated the impact of HFD on microbiota composition and whether HFD-induced dysbiosis is reverted upon fructooligosaccharides supplementation.

将野生型小鼠(wild-type mice)分为三组,分别以普通饲料饮食(chow diet, CD)、高脂饮食(high-fat diet, HFD),或饮水添加低聚果糖(fructooligosaccharides, FOS)的高脂饮食(HFD+FOS)喂养,持续4周。本研究评估了高脂饮食对菌群组成(microbiota composition)的影响,以及高脂饮食诱导的菌群失调(dysbiosis)是否可通过补充低聚果糖得到逆转。
