Computer-controlled high-speed lockstitch sewing machines are the most widely used production equipment in the apparel manufacturing sector, so it is extremely important to ensure the safety and reliability of their operating performance. Evaluating their operating performance data can provide more accurate assurance for determining whether the product meets qualification standards, and offer reference and technical support for government supervision and consumer purchasing decisions.
1. Data Collection and Evaluation Criterion Formulation
First, data collection: Collect and record the starting torque data of high-speed lockstitch sewing machines using a starting torque measuring instrument, collect and record noise levels with a precision sound level meter, and detect vibration displacement values via a portable vibration measuring instrument.
Then, establish evaluation criteria: Compare the collected data with the standard values specified in QB/T 2380-2013 to determine whether the product's operating performance is qualified. Specifically, the operating noise shall not exceed 82 dB(A), the vibration displacement of bevel gear drive models shall be less than 280 μm, and the starting torque shall not exceed 0.4 N·m.
2. Data Analysis
Compare the collected starting torque data, noise levels and vibration displacement values with the standard thresholds, and calculate the relative deviation degree. The deviation degree is calculated as:
Deviation Degree = [(Operating Performance Item Value – Standard Threshold) / Standard Threshold] × 100%
The closer the deviation degree is to -100%, the closer the corresponding operating performance item is to the ideal state. Meanwhile, conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the operating performance of high-speed lockstitch sewing machines from three dimensions: starting torque data, noise levels and vibration displacement values. Adopt the weighted average method to obtain the comprehensive deviation degree of operating performance, which is calculated as:
Comprehensive Deviation Degree of Operating Performance = a*k1 + b*k2 + c*k3
Where a is the starting torque deviation degree, b is the noise deviation degree, c is the vibration displacement deviation degree, and k1, k2, k3 are customized weight coefficients.
3. Data Application
