Richards-Zawacki et al. - COLOR ANALYSIS

Analysis of dorsal and ventral coloration of the poison frog Dendrobates pumilio from a polymorphic (red and yellow) population on Bastimentos Island, Panama. Comparisons are made between color classifications made "by eye" and those made using analysis of RGB color scores derived from standardized photographs using Principle Components Analysis and a two-step clustering algorithm in SPSS.

本研究针对巴拿马巴斯蒂门多斯岛上一个具有红、黄两态多态性的草莓箭毒蛙（Dendrobates pumilio）种群开展背、腹侧体色特征分析。研究将目视法（"by eye"）所得的体色分类结果，与基于标准化摄影照片提取的RGB色彩分值、通过主成分分析（Principle Components Analysis）及SPSS中的两步聚类算法开展分析得到的体色分类结果进行对比。
