Metagenome-assembled genomes from hydrothermal vent and freshwater spring sediments

This is the collection of metagenome-assembled genomes that were reconstructed from metagnomes from hydrothermal vent sediments (21 studies) and freshwater spring sediments (22 studies). This project is aiming to find potentially novel microbial groups that are inhabiting sedimentary environments and of ecological importance.

本数据集为宏基因组组装基因组（metagenome-assembled genomes, MAGs）的集合，这些基因组重构自21项研究涉及的热液喷口沉积物宏基因组（metagenome）与22项研究涉及的淡水泉沉积物宏基因组。本项目旨在发掘栖息于沉积环境且具备重要生态学价值的潜在新型微生物类群。
