Here, we provide the data and code necessary to reproduce the workflow and analysis in: "Drivers of home arthropod biodiversity across continents". The manuscript is currently under review. Using a new comprehensive dataset comprising >100,000 records from users who extensively document their home biodiversity, we provide the first large-scale assessment of how domestic arthropod communities respond to climate and urbanization. Household arthropod data were collected from iNaturalist (iNaturalist.org), a popular citizen science online platform that has become a powerful data source for studying global biodiversity. To understand how human influence shapes household arthropod biodiversity, we used available data on built-up surface areas, human population density and the human footprint index. To examine how climatic predictors are related to home arthropod biodiversity, we gathered global data from the WorldClim database.
