Multiple sequence alignment (MSA) of a set of thyroid hormone pathway and circadian clock genes with sirenian-specific amino acid substitutions

Multiple sequence alignments (MSAs) of thyroid hormone pathway and circadian clock genes with sirenian-specific amino acid substitutions. Genome and protein sequences of eight afrotherians and Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth (outgroup) were downloaded from the NCBI or DNA Zoo databases and aligned against 120 mammalian sequences in OrthoMaM v10c.

本数据集包含甲状腺激素通路与生物钟基因的多序列比对集（Multiple Sequence Alignments，MSAs），其中带有海牛目特异性氨基酸替换。本研究从NCBI（美国国家生物技术信息中心）或DNA Zoo数据库中获取了8个非洲兽总目物种以及林奈二趾树懒（外类群）的基因组与蛋白质序列，并将这些序列与OrthoMaM v10c数据库中的120条哺乳动物序列进行比对。
