Cultivation area for jute and mesta across Assam in India FY 2005-2023

The cultivation area of raw jute and mesta in the northeastern state of Assam in India was estimated to be 66 thousand hectares in fiscal year 2023. This was an increase in comparison to the previous year when the cultivation area was over 64 thousand hectares.
