This is a photograph of Sister Mary Juliana's Ninth and Tenth grade students at the Maryknoll Academy. "The work displayed is part of the annual school exhibition. The work directly in back of the pupils is a project on the Elizabethan period. Portraying the theater, games and sports, the court of Elizabeth and maps of England, North America and Russia. The pictures of Mark Antony's speech is exceptionally well done. The pencil sketchings of Shylock, Shakespeare, Queen Elizabeth and the excecution of Mary Stuart are quite perfect, done by a fifteen year old. The painting of Mary Queen of Scotts in prison is beautifully wrought with delicate tints and intricate designs, done by a fifteen year old and the only Catholic in the class. All the work is free hand drawing."
