Raw sequence reads of the Australian-endemic genus Telopea in the family Proteaceae. This includes the species Telopea aspera, T. mongaensis, T. oreades, T. speciosissima, and T. truncata. The data was generated to investigate the population structure and historical demography of waratahs.
