This study presents the experience of a Brazilian center during the COVID-19 pandemic with installation and management exclusively performed by intensivists, highlighting the safety and effectiveness of cannulation in the context of ECMO support for COVID-19 patients.

本研究报告了巴西某医学中心在新型冠状病毒肺炎（COVID-19）疫情期间的临床实践经验，该中心体外膜肺氧合（Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, ECMO）支持治疗的置管操作与全程管理均由重症医学专科医师（Intensivist）独立完成，并着重阐明了针对新冠患者实施ECMO支持时，血管插管术的安全性与有效性。
