Average GHG emissions of segment E cars in Italy 2011-2019

The average greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of segment E cars registered in Italy decreased steadily in the period from 2011 to 2017. However, in the following years there was an increase in the specific emissions of this segment of cars. In 2019, a segment E car emitted on average 158.5 grams of CO2eq per kilometer traveled, about 50 grams of CO2eq more than a segment B car.
