A dataset of soil microstructure features and physicochemical properties for 1968 and climate sequence for 1951-1992 in the Caspian lowland

The dataset contains microphotographs of soil thin sections of light chestnut soils with varying degrees of severity of the saline process located near the Dzhanybek Research Station of the Institute of Forest Science RAS. It contains data on the composition of absorbed bases, the salt composition of soil-water extract, grain size distribution and organic carbon content of these soils. Also this dataset includes weather data, which affected these soils from 1951 to 1992.

本数据集包含采自俄罗斯科学院森林科学研究所（Institute of Forest Science RAS）詹尼别克研究站（Dzhanybek Research Station）周边、盐渍化程度各异的淡栗钙土（light chestnut soils）的土壤薄片显微照片。数据集涵盖了该类土壤的交换性盐基（absorbed bases）组成、土壤水浸提液（soil-water extract）盐离子组成、颗粒粒径分布（grain size distribution）以及有机碳含量（organic carbon content）数据。此外，本数据集还收录了1951年至1992年间影响该区域土壤的气象观测数据。
