Saccharomyces cerevisiae SPSC01 Genome sequencing and assembly

Saccharomyces cerevisiae SPSC01 strain is obtained by the protoplast fusion from the robust industrial yeast strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae K2 (CICC 1445) and the weak flocculant Schizosaccharomyces pombe, which harvests the superior flocculation and stress tolerance ability. This project is designed to uncover the genetic background, transcriptome, and metabolome profiles of this strain.

酿酒酵母（Saccharomyces cerevisiae）SPSC01菌株通过原生质体融合（protoplast fusion）技术，由健壮的工业酿酒酵母菌株Saccharomyces cerevisiae K2（CICC 1445）与弱絮凝性粟酒裂殖酵母（Schizosaccharomyces pombe）融合获得，该菌株兼具优异的絮凝性能与胁迫耐受能力。本研究旨在解析该菌株的遗传背景、转录组（transcriptome）与代谢组（metabolome）特征。
