Schizosaccharomyces pombe natural strains

Aiming to have a better understanding on the evolutionary origin and selective forces driving the history of Schizosaccharomyces pombe, this project sequenced natural strains using Nanopore and single molecule real time sequencing, achieving chromosome level de-novo assemblies.

为更深入解析粟酒裂殖酵母（Schizosaccharomyces pombe）的进化起源及其演化历程背后的选择压力，本项目采用纳米孔测序（Nanopore）与单分子实时测序（single molecule real time sequencing）技术对自然菌株开展测序工作，最终获得了染色体水平的从头（de novo）基因组组装结果。
