QCA analysis data on regional environmental performance

This study focuses on China, excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan due to data unavailability. The analysis utilizes panel data from 31 provincial–level administrative regions (2018–2023). The majority of indicators were sourced from the China Statistical Yearbook. The Baidu Pollution Search Index data were obtained from the Baidu Index platform, urban wastewater treatment rates from the China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook, and urban environmental administrative penalty case records from the PKULAW legal database. Provincial statistical yearbooks supplement missing data.

本研究以中国为研究范围，因数据不可获得，未纳入香港、澳门及台湾地区。本次分析采用2018—2023年中国31个省级行政区的面板数据。绝大多数指标源自《中国统计年鉴》；百度污染搜索指数数据取自百度指数平台；城市污水处理率相关数据来自《中国城市建设统计年鉴》；城市环境行政处罚案件记录来源于PKULAW法律数据库。缺失数据由省级统计年鉴予以补全。
