Camera trapping data in the Gaoligong Mountains and Biluo Snow Mountains of Southwest China

This dataset contains camera trapping data from 135 camera trapping stations recorded at least three medium- or large-sized mammal species in the Mountains of Southwest China, of which, 81 trapping stations were located in the Gaoligong Mountains (protected area), 54 trapping stations were located in the Biluo Snow Mountains. Data collection occurred between October 2021 and September 2022. It contains three tables: (1) species detection table with rows representing camera trapping stations, columns representing detected mammal species; (2) species trait table with rows representing individual species and columns representing functional traits; and (3) environmental variables table with rows representing camera trapping stations and columns representing environmental variables.

本数据集涵盖中国西南山区135个红外相机监测（camera trapping）站点的监测数据，所有站点均至少记录到3种中型或大型哺乳类动物。其中81个监测站点位于高黎贡山保护区内，54个监测站点位于碧罗雪山区域。数据采集工作于2021年10月至2022年9月间开展。数据集包含三张数据表：(1) 物种检测表：行代表红外相机监测站点，列代表被检测到的哺乳类物种；(2) 物种性状表：行代表单个物种，列代表功能性状；(3) 环境变量表：行代表红外相机监测站点，列代表环境变量。
