Gamma band noise power in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder: specificity, effects of treatment and chronicity

Gamma band noise power data from patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and healthy controls during a cognitive task. Effects of different type of pharmacological treatments and illness chronicity in gamma NP and their relationship with clinical correlates. Data shows higher NP values in patients with schizophrenia and milder altered NP values in bipolar patients. Drug treatment and illness duration were not related to these NP alterations.

本数据集收录了精神分裂症患者、双相情感障碍患者及健康对照者在完成认知任务期间的伽马频段噪声功率（Gamma band noise power，下文简称Gamma NP）数据。本研究围绕不同类型药物治疗、疾病慢性病程对Gamma NP的影响，及其与临床关联因素的相关性展开。数据结果显示：精神分裂症患者的Gamma NP数值显著升高，而双相情感障碍患者的NP异常程度相对较轻。此外，药物治疗与疾病病程时长均与上述NP改变无显著关联。
