This dataset includes limnological and biological data from 5 depths under the ice of boreal lake Simoncouche during winter 2020-2021, as well as the respective overturns where sampling was conducted on integrated water column. In addition are included data from two long-term under-ice moored multisensors (1.5 m and 6 m depth) recording measurements of temperature, light, specific conductivity and oxygen concentration, for which the daily mid-day values were selected in the file "long_term_rbr". Included information covers zooplankton abundance (zoopl_abund) and biomass (zoopl_biom) per taxa, bacteria, picoplankton, and nanoflagellates abundance and biomass (microbes_abund_biom), and physico-chemical variables (phys_chem_data; long_term_rbr).
