GLOBOCAN 2022-2024 Cancer-Priority Turnover: Derived Data and Code

This record contains derived aggregate data, figure source data, checksums, and analysis code for a Research Letter examining release-to-release turnover in national cancer mortality-priority rankings between the GLOBOCAN 2022 and GLOBOCAN 2024 releases. The analysis used public aggregate Global Cancer Observatory Cancer Today / GLOBOCAN estimates. No individual-level data were used. The primary analytic unit was the country-sex stratum among 185 countries present in both releases and three sex strata: both sexes, male, and female. The primary endpoint was mortality-count ranking across named cancer sites, excluding aggregate and nonspecific categories. The primary outcome was turnover in the top 3 and top 5 national mortality-priority cancer-site lists between releases.
