In the context of the Brite-EuRam Bi-Metal project, mechanical characterization was undertaken of the joint material combinations MC2/U720FG and U720CG/U720FG. The mechanical testing programme consisted of tests performed on MC2/U720FG and U720CG/U720CG joint samples as well as the bulk materials MC2, U720FG and U720CG. Since MC2 is single crystalline and different in composition to the U720 material, the testing programme was undertaken to establish whether differences existed between the two material combinations as far as crystallographic constraints and the presence of a finite interdiffusion zone at the MC2/U720FG interface were concerned.
在Brite-EuRam双金属项目(Brite-EuRam Bi-Metal Project)背景下,本研究针对MC2/U720FG与U720CG/U720FG两种接头材料组合开展了力学表征工作。本次力学测试方案涵盖了MC2/U720FG、U720CG/U720CG接头试样,以及MC2、U720FG、U720CG三种块体材料的相关测试。鉴于MC2为单晶(single crystalline)材料且成分与U720系列材料存在差异,本次测试旨在厘清两种接头材料组合在晶体学约束(crystallographic constraints)以及MC2/U720FG界面处是否存在有限互扩散区(interdiffusion zone)等方面的差异。
