昭和站（Syowa Station）地球科学实验室的地震观测小屋内，配备短周期地震仪（Short-period seismographs，HES）与宽频带地震仪（broad-band seismographs，STS-1），并以100赫兹采样率开展数字化连续采集工作。东南极洲吕佐夫-霍尔姆湾沿岸的朗霍夫德（Langhovde）与斯卡伦（Skallen）两处露头点，部署有CMG-40T型宽频带地震仪。
