Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at St Bartholomew Churchyard, Bow, Mid Devon, Devon, August 2025

This collection comprises images, geophysics and GIS data from a geophysical survey that was carried out by South West Archaeology Ltd. (SWARCH) in August 2025, prior to a proposed extension to the existing churchyard at St Bartholomew Church, Bow, Mid Devon, Devon. The geophysical survey identified five groups of anomalies that comprised c.12 distinct geophysical anomalies depending on where one chooses to define discrete anomalies. This included: one possible boundary ditch or drain (Group 1); one possible drain or pit (Group 2); one possible drain which may be a continuation of Group 2 but which is just as likely to be an independent area of metallic debris or modern disturbance (Group 3); and two areas of possible post holes that comprised five distinct features and that may be associated with a former fence line or enclosure (Group 4; Group 5)

本数据集涵盖西南考古有限公司（South West Archaeology Ltd.，简称SWARCH）于2025年8月，在德文郡米德德文区鲍尔圣巴塞洛缪教堂现有墓地拟议扩建工程实施前开展的地球物理勘探所获取的影像、地球物理数据与地理信息系统（Geographic Information System，简称GIS）数据。本次地球物理勘探共识别出5组异常区域，依据离散异常的界定标准不同，总计约12处独立地球物理异常，具体包括：第1组为1处疑似边界沟或排水沟；第2组为1处疑似排水沟或坑穴；第3组为1处疑似排水沟，该区域或为第2组的延伸，但也极有可能为独立的金属碎屑分布区或现代扰动区域；第4组与第5组为2处疑似柱洞区域，共包含5处独立特征，推测可能与早期围栏线或围场存在关联。
