BHB is the major part of ketone body in plasm that is usually at low concentration. Dramatical increase of BHB is due to prologation fasting or diabetes. In addation to enegetic carrier for metabolic reprogramming, BHB is also involved in epigenetic regulation. Here, we illustrats the BHB-induced proteomic profile of eukaryocyte to seek for the bioligical process rewiring.
