Exposure to non-esterified fatty acids results in short- and long-term changes in the ovarian environment and granulosa cells

Determine the differences (if any) of 8 day culture in a high NEFA environment on bovine ovarian tissue compared with a control environment. Overall design: Ovarian cortical strips were isolated from abattoir-derived bovine ovaries. Natural follicles were removed & remaining cortical strips were randomly assigned into one of two groups: control tissue medium (CON) and high NEFA with a combination of free fatty acids Palmitic Acid (PA), Stearic Acid (SA), & Oleic Acid (OA)

本研究旨在探究高非酯化脂肪酸（NEFA）环境下培养8天的牛卵巢组织与对照组环境中的相关差异（若存在）。总体实验设计：从屠宰场来源的牛卵巢中分离卵巢皮质条，去除天然卵泡后，将剩余皮质条随机分为两组：对照组（CON）培养基组，以及添加棕榈酸（PA）、硬脂酸（SA）与油酸（OA）组合的高非酯化脂肪酸环境组。
