<b>Dispersion of malaria vectors in a community near the city of Iquitos.</b> <br><br><b>Study description</b> Malaria vector mosquitoes were collected for 12 consecutive months (February 2021 to January 2022) in the community of Santa Rita, located 30 minutes from the city of Iquitos. Using satellite images, five different clusters were identified: Forest, Houses, Orchards, Flood-prone areas, and Vegetation Recovery patches. Mosquitoes were collected in all five clusters simultaneously for four nights each month to understand how malaria vectors disperse in the different sampled habitats. It was found that the distribution of vector mosquitoes occurs in all clusters throughout the year. Depending on the dry or rainy season, each cluster changes its mosquito abundance and diversity.
