Ly6Chi monocytes in the inflamed colon give rise to pro-inflammatory effector cells and migratory antigen presenting cells.

We showed different function of monocyte derived cells in the lamina propria of the colon under steady state and inflammatory conditions. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression and identified distinct clusters of regulated genes during this process. Different subsets of mononuclear phagocytes were sorted from the colonic lamina propria as well as the spleen. Sorting was done in C57BL/6 mice in steady state and under inflammatory conditions (Dextran Sodium Sulphate induced colitis model)

本研究揭示了稳态与炎症状态下结肠固有层（lamina propria）内单核细胞衍生细胞（monocyte derived cells）的功能差异。我们通过基因微阵列（microarrays）解析了该过程的全局基因表达谱，并鉴定出该进程中受调控基因的不同聚类。我们从结肠固有层与脾脏中分选得到不同亚群的单核吞噬细胞（mononuclear phagocytes）。分选实验在稳态及炎症状态（葡聚糖硫酸钠（Dextran Sodium Sulphate）诱导的结肠炎模型）下的C57BL/6小鼠中开展。
