The DOAS (Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy) instruments are grating spectrometers that cover the UV/Vis spectral range between about 320 and 650 nm. The gondola's azimuth control is operated by 'CNES nacelles pointées'. The measurement are done during ascent and sunset (or sunrise) using the sun as a source. The vertical mixing ratios are retrieved from 15 km to the balloon float altitude with a vertical resolution around 1 km. 26 successful flights from different latitude and with different optical configuration have already been done. This flight is involved in the STRAPOLETE campaign.

差分光学吸收光谱法(Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy,DOAS)仪器为光栅光谱仪,覆盖320~650 nm的紫外/可见(Ultraviolet/Visible,UV/Vis)光谱波段。吊舱方位控制系统采用CNES指向式吊舱(nacelles pointées)进行操控。测量工作于气球上升阶段及日落(或日出)时段开展,以太阳作为观测光源。研究人员从15 km高度至气球漂浮高度处反演获取垂直混合比,垂直分辨率约为1 km。目前已依托不同纬度、搭载不同光学配置的平台完成26次成功飞行任务。 本次飞行隶属于STRAPOLETE观测计划。
