Survey of GIAHS Monitoring and Evaluation Criteria and Indicators in Korea and Japan

This is the data set of web survey responses collected from Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) officers and experts representing all five Korean and eleven Japanese GIAHS sites to test the feasibility of the proposed set of GIAHS Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) criteria, sub-criteria, and indicators. The survey was conducted separately in the Korean language for Korean GIAHS and Japanese for Japanese GIAHS. Both surveys were administered online via SurveyMonkey from 15 to 25 September 2021. A survey entry was received from each of all eleven Japanese GIAHS sites adding up to eleven responses, while two entries were received from each Korean GIAHS site, accounting for ten responses. A combined total of 21 survey responses were received. The responses to the name of the GIAHS sites which the respondents represent are removed from this data set to provide confidentiality of their individual identities.

本数据集采集自代表韩国全部5处、日本全部11处全球重要农业文化遗产（Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems, GIAHS）申报地的GIAHS官员与专家提交的网络问卷回复，用于检验所提出的GIAHS监测与评估（Monitoring and Evaluation, M&E）标准、子标准及指标体系的可行性。本次调查针对韩国GIAHS与日本GIAHS分别采用韩语、日语开展，两项调查均于2021年9月15日至25日通过SurveyMonkey在线平台实施。其中，日本全部11处GIAHS申报地各提交1份问卷回复，合计回收11份有效结果；韩国全部5处GIAHS申报地各提交2份问卷回复，合计回收10份有效结果，本次调查总计回收有效问卷21份。为保护受访者个人身份隐私，本数据集已删除受访者所代表的GIAHS申报地名称相关内容。
