Brook charr Salvelinus fontinalis is a salmonid species of importance for conservation, aquaculture and sports fisheries. Salvelinus is also an under-represented branch of family Salmonidae in terms of genomic resource availability. Using genotyping-by-sequencing (ddRAD; PstI and MspI) on a mapping family of 192 full-sib offspring, we generated a high-density linkage map containing 3863 markers for brook charr.

溪红点鲑（Salvelinus fontinalis）是兼具物种保护、水产养殖与休闲渔业价值的重要鲑科鱼类。红点鲑属（Salvelinus）作为鲑科（Salmonidae）的类群，在基因组资源可及性方面属于代表性不足的分支。本研究以包含192个全同胞后代的作图家系为实验材料，采用基于测序的基因分型技术（genotyping-by-sequencing，ddRAD；使用PstI与MspI两种限制性内切酶），构建了包含3863个分子标记的溪红点鲑高密度连锁图谱。
